Job summary

Lone Star College-CyFair is seeking a Division Operations Specialist to assist with managing general operations of a large instructional support division. You will coordinate scheduling, training, and office workflows to maximize equipment and staff productivity.

The role requires a High School Diploma with 3+ years' experience, or equivalent, and preferred Associate degree. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to handle budgets and confidential information are essential.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED and at least 3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in office administration.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize well.

Responsibilities

  • Build schedules during registration and notify of class cancellations.
  • Provide supervision and training to support staff and student workers.
  • Coordinate and schedule office duties based upon priorities.
  • Provide administrative support and maintain department documentation and files.
  • May assist with various department/division employee payroll functions.
  • Assist in budget planning and monitor budget expenditures.
  • Manage office supplies and track usage.
  • Retrieve and disseminate reports and management information.
  • Liaise with adjunct faculty regarding instructional matters.
