Job summary

R-2 Contractors seeks a Utility-Scale Drilled Pier Foundation Division Manager to provide strategic leadership across multiple projects. Location options include Gilbert, AZ or Prineville, OR, with about 25% travel monthly.

You will build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Superintendents, Foremen, Drill Operators, and field leaders, while ensuring drilled piers are installed safely, accurately, and to project specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of drilled foundation construction experience across utility-scale projects.
• Proven experience leading multiple drilling crews and large-scale operations.
• Strong knowledge of drilled piers, auguring methods, casing, reinforcement, and quality control.
• Ability to manage budgets, scheduling, resources, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for drilled pier foundation operations across multiple projects.
• Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Superintendents, Foremen, Drill Operators, and field leaders.
• Lead all aspects of drilled pier foundation construction to meet safety, timing, and quality targets.
• Ensure manpower, equipment, tooling, materials, and subcontractors are planned and coordinated for project execution.
• Coordinate drilling resources, support equipment, concrete placement, and production sequencing.
• Ensure foundations are installed safely, accurately, and per project specifications.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Operations Leadership, Estimating, and executives to deliver projects.
• Drive operational consistency through planning, communication, and accountability.
• Monitor production, equipment utilization, quality, and overall performance; manage budgeting and forecasting.
• Develop future leaders through coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
