Job summary

R-2 Contractors seeks a transformative leader for the Utility-Scale Drilled Pier Foundation Division, based in Gilbert, AZ or Prineville, OR, to guide all drilled pier operations, mentor field leaders, and partner with Project Managers to deliver safe, high-quality foundations on nationwide projects.

You will drive strategic growth, operational excellence, and a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement, while upholding the R-2 Core Values and developing future leaders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of drilled foundation construction experience including utility-scale projects such as power, renewable energy, transmission, substations, bridges or large infrastructure.
• Proven experience leading multiple drilling crews, superintendents, and large-scale drilled foundation operations.
• Strong knowledge of drilled piers, auguring methods, casing installation, spoil management, reinforcement placement, concrete placement, and quality control.
• Experience managing large drilling rigs, support equipment, tooling, and construction operations.
• Ability to manage drilling production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation with safety and quality emphasis.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for drilled pier foundation operations across multiple projects.
• Build and develop a high-performing team of field leaders.
• Lead all drilled pier construction activities including auguring, casing, spoil management, reinforcement, and concrete placement.
• Ensure resources and subcontractors are planned and coordinated for project execution.
• Drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery through planning and execution.
