Job summary

R-2 Contractors, Inc. is seeking an accomplished Utility-Scale Drilled Pier Foundation Division Manager to lead and grow the Drilled Pier Foundation Division. Location options include Gilbert, AZ or Prineville, OR.

The role requires 10+ years of drilled foundation experience and strong leadership to deliver high-quality projects across the United States. Travel approximately 25% monthly to project sites is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of drilled foundation construction experience on utility-scale or large infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience leading multiple drilling crews and large-scale drilled foundation operations.
• Strong knowledge of drilled piers, auguring, casing, spoil management, reinforcement placement, and concrete placement coordination.
• Demonstrated experience managing heavy drilling rigs, tooling, and foundation construction operations.
• Excellent financial acumen with budgets and project performance oversight.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% to project sites nationwide; valid driver’s license; pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for drilled pier foundation operations across multiple projects.
• Build and mentor a high-performing team of Superintendents, Foremen, Drill Operators, and field leaders.
• Lead all aspects of drilled pier foundation construction, including auguring, casing, spoil management, reinforcement, and concrete coordination.
• Plan manpower, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and resources for project execution.
• Coordinate drilling resources and production sequencing to maximize efficiency and safety.
• Ensure foundations are installed safely and per project specs.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and leadership to deliver projects on time and within budget.
