ESI Electrical Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced leader to provide overall management for a single area group in our Ohio operations.

Responsibilities include profitability, planning, and execution of group projects in the construction sector. The role requires a four-year degree, leadership in field environments, and strong communication, financial oversight, and mentoring abilities to drive project success and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have a four-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
• Strong leadership experience in a field environment is preferred.
• Experience in the construction industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish group objectives and performance standards within corporate policies.
• Monitor quantity and quality of work performed by the group.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and investigate incidents.
• Maintain a positive cash position and monitor project budgets and costs.
• Authorize expenditures and supervise project management staff.
• Direct work activities for all group personnel and mentor staff.
• Drive business development and secure new work for the group.
• Coordinate estimating activities and provide technical assistance as required.
• Travel locally or overnight as needed.
• Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Extensive finance, design, construction and management experience required

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish group objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within the boundaries of corporate policies. Monitor overall quantity and quality of work performed by the group.
• Ensure all company policies and procedures, including safety, are followed. Investigate, report, and correct any safety-related incidents.
• Maintain a positive cash position for the group. Monitor and analyze project budget and cost activities on a regular basis.
• Authorize and approve expenditures in line with corporate Expenditure Approval and Authority Policy.
• Directly supervise the work of and provide mentoring to the project management staff.
• Manage / oversee work activities for all group personnel.
• Effectively manage business development activities for the group, securing new work on a routine basis.
• Review / coordinate estimating activities for the group, as needed.
• Provide technicalassistanceorinterpretation,whenrequired.
• Manage individualprojects,as needed.
• Prepare complete estimates for selectedprojects,as needed.
• Travel, either local or overnight, may berequired.
• Performsother tasks and specialprojects asassigned.
