Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a seasoned sales leader to drive regional growth in medical device solutions. You will guide sales targets, coach a team, manage key accounts, and develop strategic plans aligned with company objectives. The role requires 8–10 years in sales leadership, a track record selling to surgeons, and strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills.

Travel up to 60% is expected. This position requires a Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) and a valid US driver's license;

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Sales or marketing management experience is preferred.
  • Total work experience 8-10 years.
  • 3-5 years in medical device sales with a documented history of success preferred.
  • Experience selling to surgeons in operating room environments and/or calling on plastic surgeons preferred.
  • Aesthetics sales experience and calling on plastic surgeons preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen & analytical skills.

  • A valid driver's license in the US required.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% (overnight/weekends) required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and execute sales targets with the team to support business objectives.
  • Manage sales promotion activities.
  • Execute sales processes including business plans, contract strategy and pricing models.
  • Maintain and expand current accounts, build new accounts, and meet sales quotas for products.
  • Coach sales team on selling cycle; be concise, professional, ethical, and persuasive to drive customer action.
  • Manage divisional budget and communicate budgetary limits to sales team.
  • Facilitate attraction, hiring and motivation of sales staff.
  • Coach and mentor subordinates and appraise performance.
  • Handle customer product questions and objections in line with training.
  • Ensure personal and company compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • MBA or equivalent is preferred.
  • Sales or marketing management experience is preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of total work experience.
  • 3-5 years of sales experience with documented history of sales success in a medical device sales environment is preferred.
  • Experience selling to surgeons in an operating room environment and/or experience calling on plastic surgeons is preferred.
  • Aesthetics sales experience and experience calling on plastic surgeons is preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong Business Acumen & analytical skills.
  • Presentation skills.
  • A valid driver's license issued in one of the 50 United States is required.
  • The ability to travel, including overnight and/or weekends, up to 60% of the time is also required.
