Job summary

D.R. Horton is seeking a Division IT Support professional to provide hardware, software, printer, copier, and phone support for the division in Palm Bay, FL. The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years of relevant experience with proficiency in MS Office and email.

The candidate will work with regional and corporate staff, maintain devices and networks, manage user accounts, and coordinate with vendors. The position may require overtime and overnight travel.

Qualifications

• One to two years of related experience and/or training.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support for hardware, software, printers, copiers, and phones for the division.
• Collaborate with regional and corporate staff to meet IT needs of the division.
• Maintain devices, networks, websites, and software with minimal downtime.
• Administer user accounts and groups, manage inventory, and coordinate with vendors for equipment.
• Train staff on applications and ensure professional, ethical service.
• Occasional overtime and overnight travel as required.

D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a ++Division IT Support++. The right candidate will provide computer (hardware and software), printer, copier, and phone support for the division.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Provide support to users on all applications, including DHI Sales, Microsoft Office, web tools, and any other software used throughout the division
• Work with regional and corporate staff to meet the IT needs of the division
• Maintain the copiers, phone systems, printers, computers, networks, websites, and all software applications used by the division. Provide system accessibility to all users, with minimal downtime, including Sales and Construction
• Manage computer software and hardware inventory, including maintenance and upgrades as well as replacement, when necessary
• Administer all user accounts and groups on all systems. This includes setting up new users, processing changes to user accounts, and terminating accounts upon employee separation
• Work with vendors to procure necessary equipment, services, and software
• Train staff on all applications
• Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
• Ability to work overtime
• Ability to travel overnight

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
• One to two years of related experience and/or training
• Proficiency with MS Office and email
