Job summary

NW Recruiting Partners is seeking a Division HR Manager to oversee all HR activities for our division in Seattle, WA. You will be the main contact for employee relations and drive initiatives from recruitment to payroll.

The role emphasizes policy adherence, training, and staff development, with collaboration across corporate and division teams to ensure employee satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or Manager level role.
• Bachelor's or Associate’s degree and/or HR Certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of WA State and Federal Labor Laws.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of HR concepts, best practices, and procedures.
• Highly organized with ability to track multiple projects.
• Advanced MS Office skills and experience with an HRIS.
• Experience with management and leadership is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day HR for the division and liaison to corporate.
• Recruitment activities, onboarding, and new hire orientation.
• Assist supervisors with disciplinary actions.
• Inform managers about company guidelines for management duties.
• Respond to employee inquiries about benefits and HR regulations.
• Oversee division payroll bi-monthly; manage timesheets and leave balances.
• Process salary increases, bonuses, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
• Maintain division vacation calendar and balances.
• Manage workers' compensation for the division.
• Ensure compliance with HR guidelines.
• Support and administer staff training.
• Manage and develop HR staff.

As a Division HR Manager, you will be responsible for taking care of all areas of human resources at the divisional level. Act as the corporate and division's point of contact and take care of all concerns relating to employee relations at the divisional level as well as escalating to corporate.

• Handles all day-to-day aspects of HR for their Division and act as liaison to the corporate office.
• Responsible for recruitment activities, onboarding, and new hire orientation.
• Help supervisors when staff members have concerns about disciplinary action.
• Inform managers of company guidelines for specific management duties.
• Be available to respond to inquiries from employees regarding benefits and HR regulations.
• Accountable for the division's bi-monthly payroll. Timesheets should be gathered, examined, revised, and approved, keeping track of time-off.
• Process salary increases, bonuses, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
• Maintain vacation calendar and notify department managers of vacation/sick/personal time balances.
• In charge of division's worker's compensation.
• Make sure that all HR guidelines are followed.
• Will help support and administer staff training.
• This role will manage other staff members.

Division HR Manager Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years’ experience in a Human Resources Generalist or Manager level role.
• Bachelor's or Associate’s degree and /or HR Certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of WA State and Federal Labor Laws.

• Must be highly organized with ability to track multiple projects.
• Advanced level skills with Microsoft Office and experience with an HRIS.
