Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage month-end close procedures ensuring accurate recording of revenue, manufacturing cost, and expense across all Business Unit facilities and Product Lines.
• Develop a robust internal control framework and ensure compliance throughout the Business Unit operations. Reconcile key Balance Sheet accounts monthly.
• Deliver Quarterly & Annual Accounting Operations Reviews with Chief Accounting Officer & Assistant Corporate Controller.
• Lead Cash Management for Business Unit, includes indirect management of Shared Service resources (AR/AP Analysts) and collaboration with Director of AP/AR.
• Build and maintain relationship with Pregis Accounting network to drive adoption of best practices.
• Monitor and work with cross-functional business partners on Continuous Improvement initiatives to create efficient and effective processes.
• Lead business unit requirements for annual external audit ensuring actions put in place to mitigate and/or remediate audit risk.
• Actively engage in the professional development of staff providing opportunities for growth.
• Ad-hoc analysis of financial and operating metrics to support business needs.
• Ensure completion of weekly reviews of production order variances to identify unusual variances, report root causes, and drive remediation where applicable.
• Support the annual budget process as a key member of the Accounting & Finance Team.
• Other duties as assigned.
