Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is partnering with a national construction client to fill a Division Controller role. The candidate will oversee accounting and finance responsibilities for assigned areas, collaborating with leadership and project managers, with a strong promotion track and hybrid work flexibility.

The position offers an approximate base salary of $120,000–$160,000 plus bonus, depending on experience, with national project exposure and opportunities for professional growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related
• Progressive accounting experience, including supervisory
• Construction, engineering, industrial services, manufacturing or related industry experience
• Strong mentoring/leadership skills
• Strong communication skills and Advanced Excel skills

Responsibilities

• Function as a strategic partner with senior leadership
• Manage and develop a team of Accountants
• Prepare and present financial reports to business leaders
• Forecasting, financial analysis, profit/margin analysis, job/project costing, fixed costs
• Monitor key metrics of financials – actual to budget, profit margin and cash management
• Improve processes related to reporting and analysis to support Leadership
• Strategic financial partner advising/supporting CFO, COO, and VP’s
• Lead the monthly Divisional operations and overhead forecast process, financial statement prep and variance analysis
• Contribute to systems efficiencies and improvements
• Assist in annual business plan and forecasts for the Division
