The Department of Surgery at The University of North Carolina is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Division Chief, Cardiothoracic Surgery. Candidates will be expected to have demonstrated excellence in clinical practice, teaching, and research, as evidenced by experience, outcomes, and references. The candidate must have the ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment. This is an Open Rank, Open Track, 0.5 FTE to 1.0 FTE Academic appointment that will be offered commensurate with the candidate's experience.
The incoming Chief will be responsible for partnering with the Chairperson of Surgery to promote a collegial work environment that enhances clinical growth and academic development while advancing research activities consistent with the growth of clinical programs.
