Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Division Buyer in Otsego, MN to manage procurement and inventory for the New Jersey distribution center serving Wawa Stores.

You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to optimize service levels, reduce overstocks, and drive inventory turns. The role requires a bachelor's degree in business or related field, purchasing and inventory background, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field required.
• Background in purchasing or inventory management preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred; some sales exposure helpful.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with suppliers, brokers, and customers including sales, accounting and operations.
• Analyze sales and purchasing trends to plan seasonal strategies.
• Monitor service levels, DSII, reports, and inventory adjustments.
• Purchase in line with McLane policies to meet department and company objectives.
• Support online distributions, overstock resolutions, and weekly filtering.
