Working alongside our multidisciplinary care team, you'll designand deliver meaningful activities that promote independence,wellbeing and social connection while creating a vibrant community where every resident feels valued and included.

Your day-to-day will involve:

• Plan, implement and evaluate engaging Diversional Therapyprograms that promote emotional, social, and physical wellbeing for aged care residents.
• Develop individualised activity plans tailored to eachresident’s cognitive and physical abilities, encouragingparticipation and purpose.
• Coordinate and promote lifestyle events and recreationalactivities, including outings and on-site entertainment, inalignment with resident interests and preferences.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with agedcare standards, including reporting, assessments, and residentrecords.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams, volunteers,families, and community groups to enhance the lifestyleexperience for residents in a warm and inclusive environment.

In addition, you have;

• Certificate 4 in Diversional Therapy or anotherqualification recognised by Diversional & Recreational TherapyAustralia
• Demonstrated experience in an Aged Care environment
• Knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety Standards relevantto Diversional therapy activities and within an Aged Caresetting
• Training and/or demonstrated experience in Dementiacare
• Hold a current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
