Job summary

LEARN Charter School Network is seeking a Diverse Learning Teacher for LEARN D.C. Campus, Washington, DC. The role focuses on implementing MTSS and ensuring high-quality services for students with special needs.

The ideal candidate holds a PEL license and LBS1 certification, with a preference for bilingual capabilities and prior special education teaching experience. Strong collaboration across SPED, 504, MTSS teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Have Professional Educator’s License (PEL) in Elementary or Secondary Education and LBS1 certification.
• Bilingual abilities are preferred to support diverse learners.
• Demonstrated commitment to high expectations and MTSS processes.

Responsibilities

• Work to prevent, assess, identify, and support diverse learning needs to improve access to learning.
• Collaborate with SPED/504/MTSS teams to implement individual plans.
• Coordinate with case managers to ensure services per IEP/504 plans.
• Prepare documents within compliance timelines and participate in 504/IEP meetings.
• Maintain confidential, accurate records of services and progress monitoring.
