Job summary

LEARN Charter School Network seeks a Diverse Learning Teacher to implement MTSS across our DC campuses. You will assess and support diverse learners, collaborate with SPED/504 teams, and help write IEP/504 plans while ensuring compliance and data-driven progress.

You will engage with families, maintain confidential records, and participate in ongoing professional development to strengthen instructional practices and student outcomes.

Qualifications

• PEL in Elementary or Secondary Education and LBS1 certification. bilingual preference.
• 1+ year of teaching experience in special education is preferred.
• Must meet LEARN's standards for MTSS and 504/IEP procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess and identify diverse learning needs and support development of social-emotional skills.
• Collaborate with SPED, 504, MTSS teams to identify and implement individual plans.
• Coordinate with case managers to ensure services meet student plans and needs.
• Prepare reports within compliance timelines and participate in IEP/504 meetings.
• Maintain records and protect student confidentiality; participate in school and network meetings.
• Engage in ongoing PD and mentor/coaching for teachers and staff.
