Job summary

Lawton Public Schools seeks a Coordinator - MTSS & Section 504 to provide districtwide leadership, coordination, and technical assistance for MTSS, Section 504, and related student-support systems.

The role guides implementation, data monitoring, professional learning, and collaboration with campuses and departments to ensure timely support and equitable outcomes for students served through MTSS and 504 plans.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience with MTSS, intervention systems, student supports, Section 504, special education, attendance, behavior, counseling, or related educational programs.
• Demonstrated ability to use student and system-level data to identify needs, monitor implementation, and improve student outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with administrators, educators, families, community partners, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of MTSS districtwide.
• Provide districtwide leadership for Section 504 programs and services and associated compliance.
• Develop dashboards, monitoring tools, and reports to evaluate fidelity and outcomes.
• Support campus problem-solving teams in identifying student needs and interventions.
• Coordinate with district departments to align MTSS with attendance, behavioral, counseling, and family support.
