Job summary

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification required.
• Massachusetts licensure or authorization to practice as a COTA.
• Experience with diverse learners preferred.
• Ability to travel between district schools and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in individual, small-group, and classroom settings.
• Support students in developing fine motor, visual-motor, sensory-motor, and functional skills for school participation.
• Implement OT interventions under supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Maintain accurate data and documentation of services and progress toward objectives.
• Collaborate with teachers, related service providers and families to generalize OT strategies across settings.
• Contribute to progress reports, IEP development, and team discussions.
• Communicate student progress and emerging needs with the supervising OT.
