Every Special Child LLC. in Somerville, MA seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a part-time, 3 days/week role in a school setting. The assignment runs through the end of the 2026–27 school year, with an immediate start and ongoing collaboration with OT and school staff.

Qualified candidates hold MA COTA certification, experience with children, and strong communication skills. Position may require onsite work in Somerville, MA and completion of required documentation.

Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts COTA certification/license required.
• Experience working with children or in a school-based setting preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to commit to 3 days per week through the end of SY 2026–27.

Responsabilités

• Provide occupational therapy support and interventions under the direction of an OT.
• Implement individualized therapy activities based on student needs and treatment plans.
• Support students in developing functional, motor, sensory, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student progress.
• Maintain appropriate documentation and communicate student progress as required.
