Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree required from an accredited OTA program.
• NBCOT-COTA credential required.
• Current state licensure or authorization to practice as an OTA.
• Experience with children or school settings preferred.
• Knowledge of pediatric OT and IEP processes.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy plans established by the supervising OT.
• Provide individual and small-group OT services to students.
• Support fine motor, visual-motor, sensory, self-care, handwriting and coordination skills.
• Monitor progress toward IEP goals.
• Document treatment notes and progress accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with teachers and related-service providers.
• Educate staff and families on strategies to support independence.
• Maintain therapy materials and equipment in a safe, organized manner.
• Follow district policies and confidentiality requirements.
