Job summary

Graybar is seeking a District Vice President to provide strategic direction and leadership across the district, driving short- and long-term growth and profitability. You will implement corporate strategies, manage budgets, and build strong customer and supplier relationships to position Graybar for continued success.

The role requires extensive travel, a track record of financial acumen, and the ability to lead complex project teams.

Qualifications

• 11+ years progressively responsible business or wholesale distribution industry experience.
• 4 year degree preferred.
• Knowledge of the wholesale distribution industry.
• Knowledge of financial analysis methods and techniques.
• Experience with continuous improvement techniques and practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and leadership for the district to drive growth and profitability.
• Analyze district financial performance against budget to meet targets (sales, margin, SG&A, growth).
• Develop and manage an effective district business strategy leveraging resources.
• Communicate results and strategies to Corporate and district teams regularly.
• Recruit, develop, and manage talent; oversee succession planning and staffing.
• Cultivate relationships with key customers and suppliers to sustain profitable business.
