Job summary

CVS Health Corporation seeks a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across CVS stores in the district and support the pharmacy team under the Pharmacy Manager. You will ensure safe dispensing, patient care, and adherence to regulations while traveling to available shifts.

The role emphasizes clinical care, immunizations, inventory management, and collaborative work with the broader healthcare team to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assist in pharmacy operations and patient care as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy.
• Ensure accurate prescription fulfillment and safe dispensing practices.
• Support immunization services and patient education under supervision.
• Maintain inventory controls and protect cold chain products.
