Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across stores in the district and support pharmacy operations. You will model patient-centered care, assist with immunizations, and ensure safe, compliant dispensing under the Pharmacy Manager and District Leader.

The role requires an active Pharmacist license, NPI, and willingness to travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing while maintaining high patient care standards.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI) included.
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Cover pharmacist scheduling gaps by traveling within the district.
• Support pharmacy teams and oversee daily pharmacy operations.
• Assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and immunization services.
• Act as Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts without overlap.
• Coach and support technicians and clinicians to ensure high patient care standards.
• Maintain compliance with all laws, regulations, and CVS Health policies.
