Job summary

Einstein Bros Bagels in Indianapolis is seeking the next District Shift Leader who will participate in a targeted General Manager development plan. You will lead daily operations at a home location, coach teams, and support other bakeries in the market to prepare for a future GM role.

The role requires starting as early as 3am, handling varied hours, and upholding safety and quality standards. A path to a General Manager is outlined within the market plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience preferred.
• Must be able to work varied hours including early hours (as early as 3am).
• Must pass background check and have a valid driver's license.
• Must complete Bagel Brands ServSafe Certification by end of GM development plan, if not certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform management duties at a home location and support other bakeries in the market as needed.
• Lead by example, coach and train teams, and ensure high-quality food and beverages.
• Maintain a safe, clean store environment and effective store operations.
• Participate in GM development plan and aim for GM promotion when available.
• Adapt to varying shifts, including early mornings starting at 3am.
