Job summary

Bruegger's Bagels is seeking a District Shift Leader to advance toward General Manager. You will manage shifts beginning as early as 3am, coach teams, and support store operations across the market. Travel between locations provides broader leadership exposure and GM readiness.

The role emphasizes coaching, inventory, cash handling, and vendor coordination, with a clear pathway to GM ownership when available. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with leadership experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass background check and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must complete ServSafe Certification by end of GM development plan if not already obtained.

Responsibilities

• Lead at a home location and support other bakeries in the market as needed.
• Provide ongoing coaching and training for teams, ensuring high-quality food and beverages and a safe, clean store environment.
• Learn and execute restaurant admin duties: inventory tracking, vendor orders, and cash management; develop skills for P&L analysis and labor targets.
• Assist in scheduling and recruiting quality team members to sustain market operations.
