Job summary

Bruegger's Bagels is seeking a District Shift Leader to train for a General Manager role. You will support a home bakery and may assist other locations in the market, starting as early as 3am to ensure bakery readiness and quality standards.

You will coach teams, handle inventory and scheduling tasks, and build leadership skills through a structured GM development plan, with a path to store ownership when positions open.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience preferred.
• Must be able to work varied hours including early hours (as early as 3am).
• Pass background check and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Complete Bagel Brands ServSafe Certification by the end of the GM development plan.

Responsibilities

• Lead management duties at a home location and support other bakeries in the market.
• Provide coaching and training to teams and act as brand ambassador.
• Be involved in inventory tracking, vendor orders, and cash management as part of GM development.
• Ensure high-quality food and beverages and maintain a safe, clean store environment.
• Prepare for eventual General Manager promotion when available within the market.
