Job summary

Bruegger's Bagels in Glastonbury, CT is seeking District Shift Leaders on a GM development path. You will work at a home location and support other bakeries in the market; travel as needed.

Shifts start as early as 3am, leading by example and mentoring teams to ensure quality and a safe environment. The development plan covers inventory, vendor orders, cash management, and progress toward a General Manager role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience preferred.
• Must be able to work varied hours including early hours and weekends (as early as 3am).
• Background check clearance and a valid driver’s license required.
• Bagel Brands ServSafe Certification program by the end of the GM development plan.

Responsibilities

• Perform management duties at a home location and support other bakeries in the market as needed.
• Lead by example, coach and train teams, and ensure high-quality food and beverage service.
• Assist with inventory tracking, vendor orders, and cash management during the GM development plan.
• Learn and apply P&L analysis and food cost/labor targets as you progress toward a General Manager role.
