Job summary

Herr Foods Inc. is seeking a District Manager for the Chillicothe, OH area in the Route Sales department. This full-time role requires leading a team, planning district strategies, and driving sales growth with a safety-first approach.

The position features a Monday–Friday schedule with 45–55 hours per week, comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with profit sharing, paid vacation and holidays, and a referral program. Drug screening is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or two years’ route sales/management experience.
• Forecasts opportunities and problems accurately.
• Sets and meets goals and deadlines; adjusts operations as needed.
• Snack food industry experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license with excellent driving record.
• Drug test required; random testing program in place.

Responsibilities

• Prepare district business plans to meet sales goals.
• Develop route sales staff to increase market penetration with a Safety First attitude.
• Train route employees to provide superior customer service and sales growth.
• Recruit and develop a fully staffed, engaged team.
• Identify strengths and create improvement plans for responsibilities.
• Cover routes during staffing shortages.
