Job summary

Paychex Deutschland GmbH is seeking a District Sales Manager to lead our district sales efforts and expand the client base in alignment with corporate guidelines. You will drive growth by executing targeted and approved sales/marketing programs and build strong relationships with clients and partners.

This role requires proven outside sales leadership, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and knowledge of HCM solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree as required.
• 3 years of experience in Outside Sales Leadership.
• 2 years of experience in HCM - Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages achievement of corporate objectives within budgeted guidelines.
• Recruits, selects, and directs sales staff to meet or exceed goals.
• Identifies potential management candidates and reports to Zone Manager.
• Manages budgets line-by-line and maintains accurate reports.
• Develops referral networks with CPAs, enrolled agents, and bookkeepers.
• Drives customer success and retention of MMS client base.

Overview

As a District Sales Manager, you will lead our district sales efforts in alignment with corporate guidelines. Your primary goal will be to expand our client base by implementing targeted and approved sales and marketing programs. Your strategic leadership will drive growth and achieve our district's objectives.

Responsibilities

• Manages the achievement of corporate objectives by individual product lines within the area of district responsibility and within budgeted financial guidelines.
• Recruits, selects, and directs sales staff to meet or exceed corporate goals. Monitors attainment versus forecast and takes corrective action when necessary.
• Identifies potential management candidates and brings them to the attention of the Zone Manager.
• Manages line-by-line items of corporate assigned budgets.
• Projects a positive image in representing the corporation to clients and the community.
• Works with branch managers to develop mutual objectives and problem-solving issues using partnership principles.
• Ensures accuracy of weekly activity reports and audits commission and expense reports.
• Initiates, participates in and supervises ongoing training of assigned sales representatives in technical knowledge, competitive knowledge, and sales skills knowledge.
• Cultivates and develops a referral network among the certified public accountants community, enrolled agents, and bookkeepers through the sales staff.
• Ensures customer success and retention of assigned MMS client base
• Drives customer success on ancillary Paychex solutions for client-base revenue growth
• Incorporates customer success measures to hold reps accountable for the assigned client base

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Marketing
• 3 years of experience in Outside Sales Leadership..
• 2 years of experinece in HCM - Preferred
• Outside Sales - Required.

Compensation

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the compensation range for this position is typically $110,000- $200,000. This range includes BOTH base pay plus commissions but does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
