Job summary

AstraZeneca is seeking a District Sales Manager for the US BioPharma Respiratory & Immunology (R&I) Primary Care team in Houston. Lead Pharmaceutical Sales Specialists, mentor teams, and drive strategic business opportunities to improve patient outcomes and sales performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years demonstrated sales or related experience.
• Proven leadership capabilities and/or people management experience.
• A valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide inspirational leadership and strategic direction to the Pharmaceutical Sales Specialists to achieve performance objectives.
• Mentor and develop PSS teams through coaching and feedback.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration and strong internal/external relationships to identify opportunities.
• Drive multi-priority resource management to deliver high efficiency and quality.
• Act as a role model promoting trust, teamwork, and strong ethics.
