Job summary

Sysco is seeking a District Sales Manager to drive performance among Sales Consultants within the district. You will coach, develop and lead a team to achieve profitable case and gross profit growth, while implementing the company’s selling methodologies and CMP/QPP processes.

You will conduct weekly coaching, lead district meetings, manage key customer relationships and leverage the CRM tools to forecast growth and optimize field execution.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience growing profitable sales in foodservice.
• 5+ years' foodservice sales experience preferred.
• Experience managing a district's performance and coaching sales staff.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the performance and development of Sales Consultants in the district.
• Conduct 3-5 SC work-withs per week for coaching.
• Lead Friday district meetings to educate and inspire behavior changes.
• Direct customer engagement and enable expanded service channel options.
• Utilize Sysco CRM for planning, forecasting, and engagement.
• Execute territory planning and management.
• Support national campaigns and promotions.
• Provide coaching and timely feedback to develop consultative selling skills.
