Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking a District Sales Manager (DSM) to lead and develop Sales Consultants within the district, driving profitable case and gross profit growth. The DSM will coach, conduct work-withs, and run district meetings to align teams with sales strategies and campaigns.

Responsibilities include territory planning, customer engagement, and using Sysco CRM tools to forecast growth. Strong leadership, analytics, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience growing profitable sales in foodservice.
• 5+ years' foodservice sales experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage performance and development of Sales Consultants within the district.
• Conduct 3–5 SC work-withs weekly to coach and direct performance.
• Lead Friday district meetings to educate and drive behavior changes.
• Direct customer engagement and expand service channel options.
• Coach and train associates in consultative selling and Sysco Way to Sell.
• Execute territory planning and management, and maintain accounts receivable.
• Review and analyze daily/weekly reports to drive sales and GP growth.
• Utilize CMP and QPP processes to coach performance across the district.
