Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to travel within the district, cover pharmacist shifts, and supervise pharmacy operations when needed. You will counsel patients, ensure safe dispensing, and support immunization services while maintaining compliance with all laws and CVS policies.

The role requires an active pharmacist license in the state, an active NPI, and the ability to travel. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Traveling within a reasonable radius to support market staffing.
• Overseeing the pharmacy as proxy for the Pharmacy Manager during bench shifts.
• Counseling patients and ensuring safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Immunizing patients and coaching staff to immunize where permissible.
• Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and CVS Health policies.
