Job summary

CVS Health is seeking District Support Pharmacists to cover scheduling gaps across CVS Pharmacy locations within the district, supporting the Pharmacy Manager and District Leader to ensure safe, compliant operations and excellent patient care.

You will travel within a reasonable radius, provide clinical services such as immunizations and prescription counseling, and coach staff while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing and counseling.
• Traveling the district to fill pharmacist shifts and oversee pharmacy operations as needed.
• Supporting safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and following safety guardrails.
• Assuming duties when pharmacist-on-duty and ensuring patient care quality.
• Coaching the pharmacy team to deliver compassionate, holistic care and resolve insurance issues.
• Delivering immunizations and supporting staff development in immunization practices.
• Managing inventory and protecting cold chain products across pharmacies.
• Maintaining compliance with laws, regulations, and CVS Health policies.
