Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to help lead patient care across our retail pharmacies. You will manage immunization programs, dispense medications, and coach staff while traveling within the district to cover shifts as needed.

The role requires an active state pharmacist license and an active NPI, with willingness to travel. You will support safe medication practices, patient counseling, and collaboration with the Pharmacy Manager to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications safely and counsel patients on use and safety.
• Travel within the district to cover pharmacist shifts and act as proxy for Pharmacy Manager.
• Support inventory management and ensure compliance with pharmacy workflows and safety protocols.
• Provide immunizations and assist the team in delivering clinical services where permitted.
• Assist in maintaining patient care quality and a positive patient experience.
