Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to cover scheduling gaps and support pharmacy teams across stores in the district. You will ensure safe dispensing, patient counseling, and immunization services, traveling as needed under the Pharmacy Manager's guidance.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to cover pharmacist shifts as needed.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment following workflow procedures.
• Assume Pharmacy Manager's day-to-day duties when serving as the only/primary pharmacist-on-duty.
• Coach the pharmacy team to deliver empathetic, patient-centered care and resolve issues.
• Proactively offer immunizations and support pharmacy technicians in learning to immunize.
• Maintain inventory and protect cold chain products across pharmacies.
