CVS Health is hiring District Support Pharmacists who travel within the district to cover pharmacist shifts and manage pharmacies as needed. You will support safe dispensing, counseling, immunizations, and collaboration with the pharmacy team to ensure patient care and compliance.

This full-time role requires active licensure in the store's state, an active NPI, and adherence to all CVS policies. Strong patient service and leadership are essential.

Formación

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsabilidades

• Dispense safely, counsel patients, and immunize per protocol.
• Travel the district to fill pharmacist shifts; oversee the pharmacy and act as proxy for the Pharmacy Manager during bench shifts.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures and safety guardrails.
• Assume Pharmacy Manager’s day-to-day duties when serving as the primary pharmacist-on-duty.
• Coach the pharmacy team to deliver compassionate care and resolve insurance/medication issues.
• Offer immunizations and support technicians to learn to immunize.
• Help manage inventory with emphasis on cold chain products and general best practices.
• Maintain professional skills and comply with laws, CVS Health policies, and patient privacy.
