CVS Health is seeking a part-time District Support Pharmacist to travel within the district, cover scheduling gaps, and support pharmacy teams. You will ensure safe dispensing, counseling, and patient care while maintaining compliance with laws and CVS policies.

The role emphasizes immunizations, inventory management, and collaborative care with the pharmacy team in CVS Retail locations. Excellent communication and strong clinical skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
Complete required training within designated timeframe.
Demonstrate concentration and focus to accurately label and dispense prescriptions.
Provide customer service and team orientation to support patient needs.
Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues; practice active listening.
Perform basic mathematical tasks to dispense correct quantities and days supply.
Identify and resolve issues affecting patient care and workflow.
