Job summary

CVS Health is seeking District Support Pharmacists to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across stores in the district. You will support pharmacy teams under the Pharmacy Manager and District Leader, ensuring safe dispensing and effective patient care.

You will travel within the district to fill shifts, supervise day-to-day operations, and contribute to immunization delivery while maintaining compliance with laws and CVS policies.

Qualifications

Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list

Responsibilities

Traveling the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled by the District Performance Coordinator (DPC).
Assumes Pharmacy Manager’s day-to-day duties when serving as the primary pharmacist-on-duty.
Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following dispensing procedures and safety guardrails.
Manage pharmacy inventory with focus on protecting cold chain products for patients.
Offer and deliver immunizations and coach technicians to learn immunization practices.
