Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a part-time District Pharmacist to help cover pharmacy shifts across stores in the district. You will support scheduling, oversee operations, and ensure safe, accurate dispensing while providing customer care and immunization services where permissible.

Expected to travel within a reasonable radius, maintain compliance with laws and CVS policies, and collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager and district leaders to deliver high-quality care to patients and communities.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist license in California.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Cover pharmacist shifts as scheduled and act as proxy for Pharmacy Manager.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following pharmacy workflow.
• Assist with immunizations and patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Maintain patient safety and uphold CVS Health policies across districts.
