Job summary

CVS Health is seeking District Support Pharmacists to cover scheduling gaps across stores in the district, under the Pharmacy Manager and Rx District Leader, helping manage pharmacy operations and patient care.

You will ensure safe dispensing, provide counseling and immunizations, travel within the district as needed, coach technicians, support compliance and inventory control, and contribute to an inclusive, patient‑focused team.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Cover pharmacist shifts across stores in the district as scheduled.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and patient counseling.
• Administer immunizations where permissible and coach staff on processes.
• Assist Pharmacy Manager with day-to-day operations when on duty.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and CVS Health policies.
