CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to travel within the district, cover shifts, and support store pharmacies under the Pharmacy Manager. You will ensure safe dispensing, patient counseling, and immunization services while maintaining compliance with CVS policies.

The role requires active pharmacist licensure in the state, and the ability to travel within the district to support staffing needs. A strong focus on patient care and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Pharmacist License in the state of employment.
• Must hold an active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Must not be on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsabilités

• Travel within a district to fill pharmacist shifts and oversee pharmacy operations.
• Cover pharmacist scheduling gaps as scheduled by the DPC and act as proxy for Pharmacy Manager.
• Support safe and accurate prescription dispensing and patient counseling.
• Lead immunization administration and advise Pharmacy Technicians in immunization best practices.
• Maintain compliance with federal and state laws, CVS policies, and patient privacy standards.
• Offering and delivering immunizations and supporting technicians to learn immunization.
• Managing inventory with focus on cold chain protection across pharmacies.
• Maintaining flexibility for scheduling and business needs; contributing to a safe, inclusive team.
• Maintaining clinical and technical skills; pursuing trainings and CMEs as required.
• Supporting access to care and patient outcomes through pharmacist-delivered clinical services where permissible.
• Complying with federal and state laws and CVS Health policies; protecting patient privacy and security.
