Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across stores in the district. You will support pharmacy teams, ensure safe dispensing, and help with immunizations and patient care while traveling between locations.

Strong clinical skills and adherence to policies are essential. This role requires active licensure in the store’s state and an active NPI, with duties including acting as a pharmacist-on-duty when needed and coordinating with the Pharmacy

• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list

Responsibilities

• Travel within the district to fill pharmacist shifts.
• Support pharmacy operations and act as proxy for Pharmacy Manager.
• Ensure safe and accurate dispensing and immunization practices.
• Assist with inventory management and cold chain precautions.
• Provide clinical care such as testing and prescribing where permissible.
