Job summary

CVS Health is seeking District Support Pharmacists to cover scheduling gaps across our stores and support pharmacy teams throughout the district. You will cover pharmacist shifts and act as the Pharmacy Manager's proxy when needed to ensure continuity of care and safe dispensing.

You will uphold regulatory standards, deliver immunizations, and partner with store leaders to provide reliable patient services. Active pharmacist license, NPI, and compliance with DEA exclusions are required.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living CVS Health values by ensuring safe and accurate dispensing and patient counseling.
• Traveling the district to fill pharmacist shifts and oversee stores as the Pharmacy Manager's proxy.
• Ensure safe prescription fulfillment by following pharmacy workflow procedures and safety guardrails at every station.
• Assume Pharmacy Manager duties when serving as the primary pharmacist on duty.
• Provide compassionate patient care and coach the pharmacy team to resolve insurance and medication issues.
