Job summary

CVS Health in the United States seeks District Support Pharmacists (DSPs) to support pharmacy teams across stores within the district. You will cover pharmacist scheduling gaps under the Pharmacy Manager and Rx District Leader, ensuring safe dispensing and high-quality patient care.

You will travel within the district, oversee operations, immunize patients where permissible, and support inventory management while staying compliant with regulations and CVS policies.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the State where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee pharmacy operations across the district.
• Fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled, acting as proxy for Pharmacy Manager.
• Support safe prescription fulfillment and patient counseling.
• Provide immunizations and clinical care where permissible.
• Assist with inventory management and cold chain protection.
• Maintain compliance with laws, policies, and professional standards.
