Job summary

CVS Health is seeking District Support Pharmacists (DSPs) to cover scheduling gaps and support pharmacy teams across the district. You will travel between stores, oversee dispensing workflows, and ensure patient safety while modeling CVS Health values.

In this role you’ll mentor staff, deliver immunizations where permissible, and maintain compliance with federal and state laws, while providing compassionate, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Assume Pharmacy Manager duties when needed and oversee pharmacy team performance.
• Ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and maintain patient safety.
• Support immunization services where permissible and coach staff accordingly.
