Job summary

CVS Health District Support Pharmacists (DSPs) play a critical role in maintaining pharmacy operations across stores in the district. You will cover pharmacist scheduling gaps, support the pharmacy team, and help deliver clinical care with a patient-centered approach.

Travel within the district and adherence to safety standards are essential. You will ensure safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizations, while supporting inventory management and compliance with laws and CVS policies.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license active in store state.
• NPI active and in good standing.
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and act as proxy for Pharmacy Manager during bench shifts.
• Support safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and ensure patient safety in workflow.

Education

Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located

Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)

Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
