Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across a district, under the Pharmacy Manager's guidance. You will oversee pharmacy operations, ensure safe dispensing, and support immunizations while traveling within the district to meet staffing needs.

Essential duties include clinical care support, patient counseling, inventory management, and compliance with federal/state laws and CVS policies.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list

Responsibilities

• Living CVS purpose by safely dispensing, counseling, and immunizing patients.
• Traveling the district to fill pharmacist shifts and support the Pharmacy Manager
• Overseeing pharmacy operations and ensuring patient safety and accuracy
• Supporting immunizations and clinical care where permissible
• Managing inventory with emphasis on cold chain protections
• Maintaining compliance with laws, regulations, and CVS policies
