Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to cover pharmacy scheduling gaps and support pharmacy teams across multiple stores. You will help ensure safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizations while traveling the district and taking on Pharmacy Manager duties when needed.

The role requires an active Pharmacist license in the store state, an active NPI, and compliance with DEA exclusion rules. Travel, flexible scheduling, and strong customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task, pivot between tasks, and ensure prescription labeling accuracy.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner and respond to patient reactions.
• Communication Skills: interact with patients and colleagues effectively.
• Physical Demands: be mobile, lift and handle items, and perform repetitive tasks.
