Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to cover pharmacy scheduling gaps across stores in the district and support pharmacy teams. You will oversee operations, ensure safe prescription fulfillment, and help deliver immunizations and clinical care where permissible.

Travel within the district and in-store collaboration with the Pharmacy Manager and district leaders will be essential as you maintain patient safety and high-quality service across CVS Health locations.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI) to verify credentials.
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list to ensure eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Travel the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled; oversee the pharmacy operations in the Pharmacy Manager's absence.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following established pharmacy workflow procedures and safeguarding patient safety.
• Cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and act as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts without overlap.
• Provide immunizations and counseling; assist in expanding pharmacist-delivered clinical services where permissible.
