Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to cover scheduling gaps and support pharmacy teams across stores in the district. You will serve as a Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during shifts and ensure safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizations as needed.

This role requires travel within a reasonable radius and the ability to cover nights and weekends, aligning with district staffing needs and CVS Health policies.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled by the District Performance Coordinator.
• Support the pharmacy team and assume Pharmacy Manager’s day-to-day duties when needed.
• Assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and patient counseling.
• Engage in immunization delivery and coaching of Pharmacy Technicians to immunize.
• Maintain compliance with laws, policies, and patient privacy across CVS Health locations.
